There is a lady about eighteen years old standing behind a straight, blue counter in front of you. She flicks her golden brown hair out of the way, and causes you to notice the many Poké Balls behind her, on many wooden shelves. They are in groups, each group labeled with a Pokémon's name.

When you start your starter topic saying that you're getting your starter, I recommend you look first to see their personalities. Then, you have more of an idea of which Pokemon likes you.~
For example, when I got my starter, I looked at three of them, and ended up choosing Meowth because it was friendly towards me, even though I would have preferred Spearow; however, the Spearow I looked at didn't like me much.
