History: As a young girl, Caradence has always been fascinated by Pokemon, especially Water-types. It has always been her goal to seek the legendary Pokemon in the sea that had a fierce battle with another long, long ago. She has never seen it but is definitely determined to one day find it. She grew up in Cherry Blossom town and so has a wide knowledge of herbs and naturopathic medicine. However, she also never learned how to handle especially stressful situations and thus grew slightly timid. However, she went to camp for two years, having failed the first year, and learned how to battle and take care of her Pokemon. What was never of her interest was being a Pokemon Coordinator; despite the fact that she grew up in a calm, quiet town, she had grown brave during camp and liked situations with more excitement in them. However, she still sometimes concentrates on how her Pokemon look; but she still isn't as much of a Coordinator as a natural battler.

Caradence caught a Buneary just after she graduated, and raised nothing but her for a while. Naming the Buneary the Japanese word for rain, Ame, Caradence grew close to her first Pokemon outside of camp. But because the Buneary also felt affection for a wild Shinx, Caradence caught the Shinx, named Sol, as well. Ame and Sol grew very powerful, but as Caradence was inspired to become a Water gym leader, she raised a more balanced team. And though she doesn't spend a lot of time with her Lopunny, Caradence still is attached to her.

During her life, Caradence rose in the ranks, and eventually defeated the Elite Four, although not without much struggle. Her father had previously owned the Water gym and passed the role of Gym Leader down to Caradence. Recently, she has become the young Water-type Gym Leader of Torrential City. But she also teaches at camp.

Appearance: Caradence is about average height, maybe a little shorter, for her age, standing around five feet tall. Her build is slightly slimmer than average; overall, Caradence is small for her age. Her long, golden-brown hair is kept straight, and she wears a hair-clip to keep her bangs out of her face, and out of the way of her bright, aqua-blue eyes that always seem to either be shining with enthusiasm or dull with sadness. Caradence often wears blue or white clothes, and, because she loves to swim in the ocean, occasionally a wet suit. She normally carries her Pokeballs and Items in a light orange handbag that is often slung over her shoulder. She almost always wears plain white running shoes.
